Benazir Bhutto was indeed a great leader. Born with a silver spoon and being a woman, she opted for a difficult course of life by joining the politics in a third world country. So, no wonder, she met a fate which none of us wished her to meet. She championed the cause of democracy, particularly, after the execution of death sentence awarded to her father, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. She was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan twice but could not complete her tenure both times. Benazir spent most period of her political life in self imposed exile.

Benazir Bhutto's untimely death and that too, though brutal assassination, has left many mysteries which only the future historians will be able to unfold.
