Lesson from Victory in T20 World Cup

It has been very heartening to see our cricket team emerging as the champions of th T20 World Cup. No amount of praise is enough to appreciate the performance beyond compare of our cricket team. The whole nation remained awake and glued to the TV sets to watch every moment of the final match against Sri Lanka. There was no distinction among citizens in this celebration. Pakistanis from all walks of life; the rich and the poor, devoid of any political, ethnic or sectarian affiliation were all praying for the success of their team.

The excitement, jubiliation and joy displayed by the entire nation watching our team play and winning the final are the great moments to be chersished and remembered for times to come. There is a lot to learn from this event. I will restrict myself to only one. Once there is a will, there is a way. United we stand , divided we fall. It are the sincerety of purpose and the honesty to achieve it, following which we can do wonders. If our leadership realizes the virtues of being sincere and honest, it's not late yet for us to rise taller than the crisis facing us.

  1. To me greatest lesson is self belief, and do your best without thinking much about the odds or the forces against us.We got to do what we got to do,if someone is not honest we should not care about them and just keep on giving our best.We went Nuclear with this spirit, and we won World Cup on this spirit. There were black sheep in the team no doubt, but good sheep should just ignore them. We have black sheep everywhere in our Society.
